Re: Metallic Serpae Tetra not eating much
OK, thanks. No other fish as it's only 30 litres. Need a bigger aquarium really. :] I agree, a 30L aquarium is too small for Serpae Tetra (Hyphessobrycon eques). Re: Stephen's new 425L SeaBray Elite tank log
Are the caves blocked at one end? I can't work out why they're laying outside if they are, although mine lay in the flowerpot which has the large entrance and the small hole at the "bottom" (which is obviously at the back due to how the pot is situated ;) ). I don't know how many goes the...

Re: Stocking advice for 80L Tank
Hi and welcome to the forum.
One of the most important things which dictates which fish are suitable is your water hardness (GH).
Once we know what your water hardness is then we can advise on stocking.

Re: Hot weather
Nothing, I leave it as it is. Me too. Although it may get warm (up to 30C on a hot Summer day) I don't really worry. In their natural habitat the water temperature varies anyway, so a seasonal variation in our aquariums shouldn't really be a concern. The only thing that may be of concern is oxygena...

Re: Snail Attack!
Snails likely came in with the plants. This is why I only buy plants from reputable sellers like Aquarium Gardens , Aqua Essentials or Pro Shrimp which come chemical free and 99.9% snail free. Once you have got snails it is almost impossible to get rid. Traps, lettuce leaf, chemicals etc.. don't rea...
