How to strip tank down?
My tank is overridden with BBA, been thinking to strip it down and start again. However can’t get my head around it - how to do it. Any practical tips, where to put fish? How long for? Remove sand fully? Treat everything with hydrogen peroxide? Then how to rinse everything? Is filter going to be ok ...

Is all Hydrogen Peroxide much of a muchness in terms of brand as long as you get the right percentage? Does it make any difference if it’s food grade or not? Nerites poo loads . I had one in shrimp tank and it was unbearable- tones of it. In the big tank I have 3 - and don’t really notice poo that much.

I can’t get rid of BBA tied lots of things , peroxide and everything. But I never dismantled fully. Good flow here , soft water, I get it on the plants mainly, sometimes tiny spots on the glass. I read somewhere it comes on the plants from somewhere- it doesn’t appear out of nowhere. So be careful w...
