Just checking in, newest fry all doing well. Although there are quite a few to count, almost impossible while they move around. I’ve learnt to wait until they’re full up from food and they’ll likely rest on the substrate. Then I can count them more easily. I reckon I’ve got about 70 fry right now, a...

Thanks Stephen, the original adults are no doubt no longer I would imagine. I say this as they were the biggest size wise, they seemed to dwindle when the next generation grow big enough to compete for territory. What I’ve found with the males is they seem to form a lump one side and just deteriorat...

Just a quick update on the fry, they’re doing fine, getting fat bellies and still in abundance. Using bbs to feed them has really helped as it hasn’t spoiled the water and been edible from the get go by the fry. At this rate I expect these fish to have striking colours, electric blue, bright red/ora...
