I see linseed oil is also fish safe but needs to be applied yearly?

Just to add, there is a capping that goes over the lining once installed so there will be run off in wet weather etc.

New raised pond build

Hi all So the Mrs has granted me a small area in her much loved garden for a small pond. A wooden raised measuring 1.5m x 1.2m (external dimensions)and 91cm tall. Big enough for a few gold fish. I put 2 or 3 assassin snails to control my pest invasion. Took a while but they hot the lot, killed nerites as well, and each other.
