Ramshorn invasion!

I have a Ramshorn invasion! I keep removing them but more and more keep coming. They seem to be hell bent on destroying my plants as well. Any idea how to remove them?

My tetras have risen from the dead…

I did a water change yesterday and did a small shuffle around of my wood and plants. I’ve just fed the fish and realised I now have 8 neon tetras (had 6 left after 3 deaths). One I found and two I never did so I assumed they had been eaten or just gone into a little crack somewhere. This was about a...

Re: Is it time to euthanise my tetra?

Oh really? I’ve tried feeding her a garlic pea but she won’t eat anything, she’s very pale in colour compared to the others and hasn’t moved for days- she was incredibly bloated and now looks quite skinny. Shes also really gasping, I’m not sure she’s long for the tank

Is it time to euthanise my tetra?

I have had two of my neons die suddenly and a third has been very sick for a week. I’ve treated him for everything I could think of but he’s still isolated, a bit bloated, colour faded and constantly gulping. I feel terrible that it’s suffering and think the best thing to do would be to euthanise hi...

Re: Sick neon tetras

Thanks, it’s on my list of things to rule out. I honestly didn’t think he’d still be going but I’ll try out the garlic (I was going to try and pea today so I’ll soak it) and see if it help!
