70-71 is fine for some lineages but long term you want to raise it a couple of degrees. 73 or so.
Perfect temperature is not essential but you will see better behavioural traits at 73.

The chances of interbreeding are actually pretty small. Lineage are capable of breeding with their own lineage but again will always prefer their own type. Even if interbreeding did occur it's only really a problem if you wanted to sell fry as it brings more identification issues into the equation. ...

The problem with Cory is once they start to go downhill they are pretty much done. You might think you see improvements and then they flake.

Hiya The Corydoras has a skin irritation that has gone fungal. Without knowing your water parameters it's hard to establish why however when the immune system weakens this way it's usually linked with a poor diet. As plankton says Cory are not bottom cleaners. If your pH is higher or water is harder...

There is also albino paleatus, sterbai, pygmeus and even cw10.
Aeneus are the most common but albino sterbai are easy enough to find if you ask in the right places.
