What do you all do with your wave makers at night? on or off?

I use them to circulate Co2, so in my tank they are off at night.

For non-CO2 tanks, I’d say keep them on. Rivers, tides and waves don’t stop flowing at night.

I'll keep it on then, I'll be adding CO2next month when funds allow. I have the regulator and the tank and was about to buy a ceramic diffuser but according to youtube they aren’t very efficient at all 40% loss!!

I use a wavemaker directly pointed at the diffuser, 40% loss sounds ludicrous to me.

Just got a jebao SW-4 for Xmas. It has a night mode so once it senses darkness it reduces the output to a slow flow, rather than the torrent it sometimes puts out in the day.
