I'm getting low on Prime: would you recommend more, or is Safe better/cheaper? I've got a 160l and a 260l tank :)

I'd recommend Seachem Prime as it is already a liquid, it just needs a good shake before use.
Seachem Safe is a powder and may be added to aquarium directly, but better if added to new water first. (Seachem quote)
I prefer the Prime as it is already a liquid and I have a 600L aquarium and do large weekly water changes.
A 500ml bottle of Prime still goes a long way even with a big aquarium.
425L SeaBray Elite aquarium - Rio Mamoré (Bolivia) theme
4 x Cupid Cichlids, 14 x Cory caudimaculatus, 13 x Cory sterbai 52 x Reed Tetra, 4 x Honeycomb Bristlenose (L519)

I've switched to safe, seems to be working OK. Now I just dump the required spoonful into the tubing connecting my refilling hose to the fx6 so as I'm refilling the tank the safe is being flushed into the fx6 and then subsequently diluted out into the tank itself.

I agree. I use Prime directly in my tank, so dose for 400lt a week. The other great thing about Prime is I hoover the sand a couple of times a week (messy plec :P ) so need Prime to dose 2 to 3 buckets, which is a ridiculously small amount. I imagine this would be impossible with Safe. So I reckon if you bought Safe it would still be sensible to have at least a small bottle of Prime on hand.

Yes to those who menstioned it, it is very aromatic ROFL
