I need to stop trying to count but I’m sure there are now only 7 pandas. Or maybe I’m paranoid.

Also I’ve noticed one of the rams is looking much darker all the time. Is this a sign of stress?

Unfortunately, that BR does not look good. Dark colour, bent shape, hollow stomach - either very sick or has not been happy with his/her home for a while.
I don't know about BR, so can't point you towards what might be wrong - sorry.

He/she needs to be on its own and fed up with good protein by the looks, although it could be a long way gone wrong.... :(

It has been eating, I’m guessing it just isn’t happy in general. I’m going to rearrange some of the rocks so that it’ll have a cave facing the back of the tank if that makes it any happier. And ensure some food goes towards the back as I tend to feed from front compartment as all fish come there anyway.

I don’t have any other tank for it to go in. (I only have room for a nano tank in the future). I’ll keep an eye on him/her.

In other news I’m still saving for the Fluval Plant 3.0.

Going to give floating plants another try - I’ll use this to protect them from my filter flow / air stones:

Could you set up something in a large plastic box , like those storage boxes you get from the cheapo shops ? Always good to have one on standby too.

If he's eating then he has internal parasites and needs treating.
His shape is pretty bad really. :(

What treatment would you recommend? Is there something generic as obviously I don’t know how to diagnose!

also if they are internal parasites could they have been present all this time? I haven’t added anything new to the tank since getting the fish.
