Decided to purchase a couple of Wavemakers, to get some extra circulation in my tank, even out any dead spots, these arrived today.

Also noticed one of my BR's guarding some eggs that have been laid on a stone.  :)

Well my BR's don't know what they are supposed to do with there eggs, they have eaten the lot between them, just witnessed it with my own eyes. I thought that each time I looked there were a few less eggs.

The tank is quite busy, so they may just be doing it because they can't settle.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Oh wow, you have actual babies!!!

We have a batch of eggs being guarded at the moment, but not too hopeful as the last 10+ batches have ended in a feast for mum and dad BRs... Yours are clearly better parents ;)

This pair have laid about ten batches of eggs Suse, but they normally eat the eggs, this I think is the first time the eggs have hatched and not yet been devoured by the parents.  ;)

I think it takes young BR's a while to work out what they are supposed to do, first lesson, try not to eat your own eggs.  :)

Fingers crossed for yours Suse.  :)
