Thanks for the advice!

Angel update - all quiet on the western front. They are keeping their angelic names for the time being - but my heart is in my mouth!!

Thanks ... surprisingly well! They are ignoring everyone else. Doris the Bolivian Ram is lady of the bottom and they are respecting that and the only time I see any chasing is at the end of feeding time - just among the angels if they are all trying to eat in the same area. One seems to be the boss and the other two stay away. No fin nipping or owt like that and they just swim around!

Please Lord let it always be like that! I like them tho - they feel right in the tank if you know what I mean.

Thanks for asking!

2 Angels
2 Severums
1 Blue Acara
1 Firemouth
1 Geophagus
1 Chocolate Cichlid
1 Golden Nugget
1 Synondontis Angelicus
Phantom Tetras
White Tipped Rosy Tetras
Corydoras Julii

My angels which are not paired off and were introduced separately, are the most peaceful, graceful and hassle free fish in my tank. The just glide about slowly minding their own business, so laid back they're almost asleep. Brilliant fish.

Oh I like that story!! I hope it’s the same for my three. Thanks for sharing! Are yours starvos? No matter where I am in the room I can feel their eyes boaring into me! I turn around ant they are there! At whatever end of the tank I’m at! Just willing me to feed them!! 🤣🤣

Yep, that sounds like angelfish alright :D

Glad everything is calm in your tank; the odd squabble and chase is ok, as long as it doesn't come to the point of stressing out or killing another fish. Long may the peace continue :)

Just noticing that as the angels grow, one is larger than the other two and is developing some lovely blue iridescent markings. This one also seems to be the boss. (Michael). While the other two have a few signs of blue they aren’t nearly as vivid. Any ideas why?

There seems to be a lot of Angel fish with blue markings around these days, It must be something to do with selective breeding.
This is one of mine.
