Gill (the wife) wants one or more of these.
She says she loves the colours.
Unfortunately I have no record of them in the Rio Guaporé so she can't have one.
I must admit they do look gorgeous.

What am I on about?

You may well ask.

Gill loves the look of these cichlids.

It's a severum.

A red shoulder severum aka Heros sp. rotkeil (Heros efasciatus "rotkeil")

Stunning fish, I kept one before Christmas but got very aggressive, gave him to a friend now he is huge. Even though it doesn't go with your theme would be a nice addition, takes a good year or so to develop the colouration.

The only severum that fits in with my theme is Heros spurius but have not seen them listed anywhere.

At my local MA they had Green Severum For £5.50 (3 for £15) and Gold Severum for £7.50 (3 for 21) but they don't fit in either.

Well, what are the options: say good-bye to your theme? Or is Gill happy to start up her own tank?

Thought I'd see where Rio Guaporé was in relation to Rio Nanay and make some joke that it is only just down the road, but then Google maps told me .....Sorry, your search appears to be outside our current coverage area for driving.

I since guesstimated that it's a very long walk and may take sometime! :]

My walking is very limited due to my disability LOL

The Rio Nanay to the Rio Guaporé is approx. 1143 kilometres (710 miles) as the crow flies (straight line).
Google maps state "Sorry, we could not calculate directions"
Driving would therefore be almost impossible, therefore it would have to be by aeroplane :)

Cupid Cichlids (Biotodoma cupido)
That's it. :(

I feel a new theme coming .... :dodgy:
