Hi can anyone tell me whats happening with this jd? 3blisters one on mouth, one either side. Im nit over great when it comes to illness as not had too much in past? Thanks

The diet is a variery of food from tetra pro colour, to jbl and aqua one cichlid pellets, and blood worma brine shrimp. Mixed about each meal. She gets 2meals a day and is eating as normal. Just hiding a little bit and not moving much.. advice in what to do next? Please

If it's lyphocystis then it may or may not disappear. It doesn't seem to do much to the detriment of the fish.
If it's "HITH" then you'll need to treat - I believe Waterlife's Octozin is the stuff for that if I remember.

Went to lfs today they told me its likely fungal and gave me melafix,i bought a new tank took old filter media and tank water from tank it was in, and stuck temp to 30. Its in there for 7 day treatment now with no water changes thats what the back of bottle says. Ive put in low level light and ill keep tank dark most of the day... any objections? The misses wasnt happy. 6th tank haha..

Melafix won't do anything except prevent secondary infections, they could have at least sold you Pimafix which may help.

Ok ive looked at the back of the melafix and it says it can be used for bacterial infections, over pimafix. Says its not for fungal that would be pimafix. which totally contradicts him saying the wound looks fungal get melafix? Ha loooks like im off to get some pimafix ill just out both in maybe? Or cant you do that...
