I have had a red honey gourami for approx 1 year now.

He has suddenly developed a concave left eye which appears to have no iris. He appears to be blind in that eye.

He is swimming and eating ok, everything else appears to be normal.

Any clues anyone?

Any pics? Sounds like the eye might be missing, what else is in he tank?

Will try to get pics tomorrow Iain.

Only other guys in the tank are a male and female guppy, two bolivian rams and a clown plec.

It really is very strange.

Could he have caught it on anything sharp?
Half dose Melafix in case it is damaged.
Fish are ok in the tank with only one eye, I've had at least two in the past who have done ok.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!
