I pride myself in the redness of my Rummys noses, however I bought 8 from my LFS and when I got them home they are nowhere near as red as my shoal.

Anybody any similar experiences? Will they redden up more? Should I give them extra frozen or live food for a while?!

You can kind of pick out my older dark red noses. I’d like them all to match! Lol!

Let them settle in, they will colour up more once they calm down and settle in. A good diet will also help bring out colours :)

I had the same thing when I got my second batch. They were pretty much colourless but a day later they blended right in with the others and I couldn’t tell which we’re old / new!

They will colour up as they settle down. It may take them a few days, or even weeks, but it will happen. :)

As said, give it time, they will colour up.
