They are some beautiful colours and patterns, always love seeing your guppies, they’re always so bright and happy looking
To the tune of “the saints go marching in”:
Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful, they’re white Welsh and fluffy! Oh fluffy sheep are wonderful!

Just having a good nose through all the threads and this was popped out as I love guppies. Yours are beauties love the colours! I owned male and females and of course this resulted in lots of fry but I remember panicking that my tank would be overrun...I was told to let nature do it’s thing as all would not survive but I rehomed all 60 or so of them.
I definitely would like guppies again but is it cruel to just have males? Or, let’s say I had 1:2 again and had fry how could I manage? Is it true that not all would survive and longer term could there be serious issues. I don’t plan on getting a second time (only hospital tank).
Thanks Plankton.

I've just let them balance themselves out. There's normally about 60-70 in the tank at any one time with 30 or so panda corys and a bristlenose. It is a 2'6" tank now as the old 2' gave up.
You can keep males on their own though, get 10+ though as they will harass each other with less.

If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it!
Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Thank you! Really good to know that and definitely makes me feel less anxious about it.plankton wrote: I've just let them balance themselves out. There's normally about 60-70 in the tank at any one time with 30 or so panda corys and a bristlenose. It is a 2'6" tank now as the old 2' gave up.

I'm working on it, but there's something funny going on here: 'guest' posting ; and I can't follow the usual path to purge the blighter out of existence!
