plants have been ordered :)

1 x Anemopsis
1 x Mentha Aquatica
1 x Geum rivale - water avens.
1 x bunch of Hornwort
1 x Bunch of Red stem parrots feather
2 x Snails
1 x Aquatic basket
2lts Aquatic compost

Should have some progress pictures next week :)

Need to get some wood sorted to build the 'box' to contain it ( it bows a bit without, but not too much of a problem )

Little bit more work to do on the box but you get the idea :)

We made it at my parents so didn't have the plastic container with us. It appears that i got my measurements spot on. I still need to tidy up the edges but you get the idea :D

Total cost so far:-
Container - £16
5 plants, basket, compost and a couple snails - £12.99
Wood - Free

Woohahahaha that is a copy of the one we made for my parents in law years ago.
Still works and is home of two happy goldfish ! 250 litres I believe (instead of a bowl of 2,5 litres)

Yeah this works out around 220L. Might get some native fish to put in it ( minnows or the like )
