I currently have a 125 liter tank that has been running for 3 months now and is doing well.
I have 2 pearl gouramis, 15 harlequin rasbouras and 6 otocinculs in it at the moment.
I'm thinking of putting a few more fish in like 8 -10 cherry barbs or some black phantom tetras but don't want it to be over stocked.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

www.aqadvisor.com put in the tank details ( make sure the measurements are correct ) and see what it says. I'd say its close to full already

Welcome to the forum :)
What are the dimensions of this 125l tank?
What filter are you using?
It sounds quite full already.

It's a juwel Rio tank. It's L 81 cm X W 36 cm X H 50 cm.
I took the filter out that came with it and have replaced it with a fluval 207 external canister filter.

Welcome, Ben. That stocking sounds great (I've got Pearls, Harlequins & Otos in my tank).
How about some bottom-dwellers? I've got some Panda Corydoras scurrying about.

You might be able to get cherries in, but if you go for corys, get a species that can take average warmth rather than pandas that like it cooler, I presume you're running the tank at about 24C/26C for the gourami and harlequins? Only go for fish with barbels (corys, loaches) if you have soft substrate though, sharp gravel and coral sand will cut the barbs.
The otos will prefer it cooler as well by the way, so go for 24C rather than 26C. ;)

I have some lovely wee pigmy cories that I like - if they would suit your setup you could get a good herd of them in 125l
