Right I’m trying one last bash . Been sat in my friends shop this afternoon. I’m upping the filtration then adding another 15 malawis in hope that this allows the females to recover from breeding.

Probably going to strip the tank right back this weekend add the filter lob the rocks back , in a new formation . Then add a new group plus a top up of existing groups on Monday . I’ll obviously tip gunk from the other filter into this one

Nope . I kept loosing the odd mutilated fish now and then . So last week I’ve stripped it down . Scrubbed the tank out ( kept the filter running on the Amazon cube ) and thus weekend I’ve reset it as a Congo biotope . I’m so much happier. Planted tanks are definitely more my thing
