My fish was fine a couple of days ago and then I found him dead on the bottom of the tank with a white saddle. What might be the cause and how should I treat the tank?

How long has the tank been set up ?
How hard is your water ?
What temperature is your tank water ?
Are you using an airstone ?
What are you feeding the hillstream loach ?

Also, in addition can you provide a pic of the tank so we can see whether the setup is ok for hillstreams and a list of tankmates?
