Hi all,

I have read about oak leaves being suitable for some Corydoras / otocinclus fish and have also noticed some of you have them in your tanks. May I ask how you prepare them for your aquarium?

Just rinse them and drop them in. :)

does it matter if they are still fresh (green) or do they have to be dried out?

Dried. Best of you pick fallen leaves that have browned and dropped, leave them to fully dry before adding to a tank.

If you need any, pm me and I can send you plenty across, just cover postage 😊

All leaves and wood need to be totally dried out.
