Anyone have any idea what wood I have in my tank.
Appreciate this may be a strange question but I bought it from my local fish shop about a year ago and it’s been great and I wanted to get some other pieces but I’ve been to a number of other shops and can’t find it anywhere.
I’ve had my brittlenose plecos breed in it and it’s a great barrier for the fish.
Thinking of upgraded my tank to get more pieces.
Any ideas?
What type of wood.

You can get it relatively cheaply in "The Range".
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it!
Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Now I thought this but it does look different to mopani. I’ve got some mopani wood and whilst this has a similar “gnarly” appearance the tones are different.
I’ve seen a few images of centurion wood which it also resembles.

Your Mopani Wood still has some gnarly bark on it and the grain is different Centurion wood.
