Tank looking great Stephen. So clean looking, and love the big shoal of Reed Tetras, stunning mate.

Just checked my aquarium and I have pleco eggs.
The eggs are just outside one of the caves and stuck to a loose piece of root.
I will keep an eye on them.

The eggs came to nothing, probably eaten by other fish.
I'm not surprised as the eggs were not laid in the cave and therefore not guarded by the male.

Another observation:
Two of the Cupid Cichlids (Biotodoma cupido) have paired up.
There is a large pit in the sand which was created overnight (I done a water change yesterday and cleaned and flattened the sand).
A large male is guarding the pit area and defending the area from the other large male (the other male is actually slightly larger).
A female sits in the pit in the sand (most of the time).
There is no sign of eggs.
I do have 2 male and 2 female Cupid Cichlids and have seen this happen with previous Cupid Cichlids.

The plecos have done it again.
The eggs (again) are outside the cave.

🤦‍♂️ they’ll work it out eventually.
Are you hoping they’ll manage to take care of them and bring them up?

I hope they work it out sooner rather than later for you :)
You may find you have to rearrange decor slightly to help, although if they’re anything like Sarah (my BN) then they’ll do it themselves :D

Are the caves blocked at one end?
I can't work out why they're laying outside if they are, although mine lay in the flowerpot which has the large entrance and the small hole at the "bottom" (which is obviously at the back due to how the pot is situated ;) ).
I don't know how many goes they had as I've never spotted the eggs, only fry....
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!
