They are about 8" and cichlids. They aren't among the most aggressive, but I still wouldn't trust them with the danios and smaller fish.......
They may also upset the Bolivians.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Hmmm.  Will think carefully.  Would hate my rams upset.  At the min they are about the size of rams he says.  He says they should be fine, but I know he is manager of the shop and wants to sell fish.  He is good at steering me clear of huge ‘no nos  but he is more risk taking than me!    Although- it would take some fish to catch one of my Danios!! Lol. Wonder about the Sterbai too....  plus he says he has no way of sexing a pair - too small.  He did say they weren’t inclined to be aggressive.  Also said it’s possible to just have one, but don’t know how I feel about that.

This sounds abit like the famous impulse buy. I
A fish you didnt consider but saw it/had an oppertunity to have 1 say yes go on then il get 1, and eventually/innevitably wish youd have stuck to your list. So i vote dont buy it you said it yourself hes a lfs manager. I wish i had said no.
8ft Clown Loach tank.

I would categorically not keep any Cichlid bigger than a Ram, with Rams. These are giants compared to Rams and your Rams will suffer.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

Tank is 121cm ph is buffered to 7.4 tap is ridiculously low at like 6.4

No guys you are right.  It feels wrong.  I will go to shop tomorrow as my water is ready for more fish, but will come home with something that will be happier and not make my rams miserable.

Thanks for your honesty x
