Bubbles! Bubbles everywhere!

I’ve moved the outlets slightly to reduce some flow - the floating plants aren’t being pushed around as much.

The filter - the pic was taken when both output nozzles were pointing upwards. Such a difference in flow between 306 and 406.

I also have an air stone but that isn’t on all the time, just in the evening for a bit.

I can safely say the tank is well aerated!

My output flow from both 306 & 406 do not create bubbles, I use air stone like you but mine is on 24/7 are the bubbles in your pic coming from your air stone?

These were from the filter output - I assumed they’re formed when the surface is broken.

Yet another question: is anything labelled Ancistrus a BN pleco?

Basically yes, but there are several species.
Unfortunately they interbreed and a lot of hybrids are making their way onto the market......

My Fluval Plant 3.0 arrived today! Gosh it’s bright at 100%! Poor fish are probably feeling a bit traumatised as I had a good play with settings and colours.

My tank has all planned upgrades on it now!

Next step (which will be in a few months) is to get a few more fish.

I have harlequins which occupy the upper layer

*INSERT SCHOOLING FISH HERE*

Rummynoses taking mid-bottom

Corydoras and Bolivian Ram at bottom

I’m thinking tetras but which variety to occupy the mid-upper section? Preferably different colours to current stock!

(And I’m definitely leaning towards common / brown BN pleco!)
