I love my cardinal tetras and they go all over the tank. The electric blue colour is just stunning (to me).
Golden pencilfish hang out in middle-top, but I found them a bit (whispers) boring.

Panda corydoras. The tank is around 24 deg.
I have reduced all lighting percentages so it’s not that bad now!
Cardinals were going to be the choice, exactly for the blue but thought they prefer the tank to be warmer whereas the pandas prefer it a bit cooler.

How about a large squadron of gold tetras? Lemons are also very nice.
You could go with something a bit larger like diamonds perhaps?

Blue tetras are nice, emperors prefer it a bit warmer.

Went to Pets@Home today (for the cats) but naturally veered off to the fish section as I always do.
Bought a tropica 1-2 grow Heteranthera on impulse (because I *have* to buy something for my pets whenever I’m in there!)
Also spent 10 minutes looking at all the fish on offer (even though I’ve seen them all before I *have* to look again!)
I saw both bristlenose plecos (I assume they were juveniles as they were quite small) and I also saw a group of ottos. I think I have mentioned in a couple of threads how much I adore the ottos, but I’m nervous about their delicate nature / initial survival rate. Torn between the two but I know BNs are not as delicate.
I also made the mistake of looking at tetras - I think there are now five different varieties I could happily get. Might literally have to pick out of a hat. Silver tip, glow light and black neons all caught my eye today.
Decisions decisions...
