For those who didn’t see how it was built on another forum, in April 2019 I started digging a hole. This is pretty much how it went...

Then the flooding happened. The rain came down, my drainage blocked and the waterfall collapsed.

Emptied the pond, rebuilt the waterfall and put it back together ‘better’.

And this is it today.

Here’s a quick video on my girlfriends YouTube as mine didn’t like the video format for some reason. The waterfall has gone from gushing river to babbling brook and we like it a lot.

Wow.
Probably a silly question, but why the fish in the paddling pool?

The flooding lifted all the liner up and washed the waterfall support from underneath. I had to pretty much empty the pond and move the liner and rebuild everything so the fish came out temporarily while I almost started again. Meant I kept most of the water too so didn’t needs loads of dechlorinator, the filter didn’t get packed full of mud and the fish stayed happy during their day out. Plus it’s nice for fish to have little holidays by the pool too!

I'd love a pond...and a garden! Looks great, reminds of my mate who had a huge garden, he decided on a pond, he got a bit carried away as its 8 feet deep in the centre...got some huge Koi though
