@Andys temperate tank nothing like a sleepy Stafford! Here's mine, armchair on it's own just not comfy enough so gets a duvet as well, did use a throw, but he scrunches them up into a ball in his attempt to make a nest or sometimes just throws them on the floor, he's quite opinionated like that - duvet is easier

It is a bit crap looking back at them in their prime. Our elvis was about 4st3lb at his best, tilley was one of the best ratters I've seen as well.Ric wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 20:16 pmShe is at least 12yrs old - was a guesstimated 3 when we got her from a rescue. By and large I'd say it has been a good estimate, just over the past 12-15 months she has really aged, more arthritis, perhaps more deaf and eyes cloudy. Also, she has always been good with her food, i.e. ate as much as she burned off. Now that she is only going for short walks she is also very hit-and-miss with her food. On warm days like today she barely touches anything; but then she might surprise us in a few days and polish off everything we offer her. Just never know.
Last year she went down from about 25/26kg to around 20.5/21kg but this has been fairly stable now. With 1 human year = proverbial 7 dog years, we just notice her decline more quickly. Its just age
Mine still love their walks and elvis wants a chase round the house every now and then.

When I was little we had a German Shepherd at home. He came running towards me and little me thought 'surely he can see me'....well, he might have done but he did not stop
