Hello guys,

I have green algae on my plants which seems to be killing my plants and it is also started showing on the glass.

Would pure aquarium balls help my plants?

Thanks,

Hello.

Is the algae only on the glass? How long is the light on for? What kind of plant is the big one that's dying off? I'd cut those leaves off as far down as I could.

The decaying leaves maybe feeding the algae.

Also is there any substrate under that gravel? - I think alot of plants struggle in gravel (even more so than sand!)

So the light is on for 8 hours, the plants have a kinda green spot algae on them and I don't know what plant it is.

I'll take all the dead leaves off.

I don’t think the algae is killing the plants, but lack of decent root nutrition.
I get green spot algae on my glass and plants. I’m working on getting the balance right with fertiliser and light.
