That’s when I noticed it. I turned the filter off to feed them, because the flow from the filter sometimes lifts the pellets out of the dish. Then while I was getting the pellets out of the tub I noticed they were swimming about. They tend to ignore the pellets but seem to get very excited about the micro worms. They seem to swim about really quickly, stop and maybe have a nibble on something and then whizz about again. There is plenty of biofilm and algae in there and there also those Copepods, so they shouldn’t get hungry between feedings.Martinspuddle wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 18:43 pm Shrimp swimming around and not foraging is normally a sign their hungry, have you ever switched the filter off to feed them?
I have just got a very good look at the interlopers and they definitely have pincers.
