Thought I’d post a few photos of the Malawi set up . I am due to rescape it soon current stock is;

6 perlmutt
8 labs
7 acei yellow tail
7hongi

Plus fry
( fliter on the outside is cycling for another tank )

I’m not the best at fish photography . Always get glare or blurry fish . I guess maybe a slr would work better than a phone 😅

I like to leave a bit of algae on the rocks to me it looks a bit more natural . . When I have a reshuffle with the rocks I might top up the numbers a little . We’ll see how the fry fair 😅. Plenty of hiding spots for them

Better for them. You have a Nitrate filter or you just rely on waterchanges?

Thanks I just do fairly hefty water changes once a week . That may have to change as they get bigger . It was a tanganyikan tank up untill a year ago but I wanted more colour and less shy fish for my son.
