As the title really? - Are there still local, private, hobby breeders?
Years ago you'd go on a forum and they would be a good few breeders on there selling various fish you could go along and collect.
Dont see it these days?
Do Hobby Breeders still exist?

The only one I've seen near me is a shrimp breeder who started as a hobby and then turned it into a business.
I guess these days I'd need to look at Facebook groups but I gave up Facebook many years ago.

Yep, there’s still hobby breeders and they’re all on Facebook.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

Cory's 4 U is one I know, although he imports as well. They're more difficult to find these days as you're only allowed to sell on Facebook if you have a pet shop license. They close down selling groups pretty quickly via their algorithms now. There is an app called Band that people use instead, you just have to find the good groups!
