Hi guys,
First time poster!
Just cycling my new tank (Aqua One Parquet 250l) and getting close to fish time.
Really would like mainly medium sized fish of different colour and interest/character so not keen on small shoals of tetra etc.
Love Cichlids and different kinds or fish like Leopard Bush Fish.
Could you recommend a collective of fish who would like the following parameters please:
GH 180
KH 120
PH 7.5
NO2 0
NO3 80 (coming down)
Thanks.
Mac.

Welcome to the forum.
You're not going to get many bigger fish in the tank (it's not quite 4' long).
The water is a bit hard so don't go for the South American cichlids who do much better in soft water.
You may just get a pair of "Bush fish" in there, the water is right at the top of their range.
You don't give an ammonia reading, am I correct in presuming it's zero?

If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it!
Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Are you set on cichlids?
Are you set on cichlids?
Hi guys, thanks for the interactions. Ammonia is 0 yes. Not set on anything really. Just want a collection of fish that will live a good few years. Nothing small (tetra esq) bit other than that completely up for ideas. Was going to Trop co tomorrow to have a good look round.
I like fish with interest and character.

What about some of the more unusual fish like the Empire gudgeon?
