Hi all,
Like a few people here I joined the forum looking for quite specific advice, quite quickly. In that haste I forgot to come back here and introduce myself
I have kept fish for around four years now. However my introduction to the hobby was not willing. My girlfriend agreed to rehome an uncared for tank while she was out drinking and to my surprise I suddenly had a 40L tank with one Leopard Danio and one (young) Black Moor. As a new fish parent I took my role quite seriously and became the primary care giver/project manager. A new passion.
Quickly learned that the tank they were in, despite both seeming quite happy, was oddly paired and far too small a 200L upgrade was made. Sedge, the danio has since gone but over time Berny, the black moor, has been joined by another fantail named Mel.
I said 4 years which has been more than enough time for me to learn a lot about the hobby and the MTS condition! I also now keep tanks with white cloud minnows, flame tetra, phoenix rasbora and a scattering of shrimp.
Looking forward to contributing to more of the discussion going on around here over time.
Thats all for now. And thanks again to all those who already gave me a warm welcome on another thread.
Slightly late

Welcome to the forum!
It's nice to hear a bit about people's experience of the hobby so far! Excited to read more.
