If you stand there with your finger on the wood long enough, it won't float ...I'll call back in a couple of weeks!
WARNING - DO NOT BREED, FEED OR PET THE PUDDLE!

Seems to be staying put this morning
Plenty of air escaped overnight so when I get in from work, I’ll rip it all out, give the sand a stir and start again.

And we are planted again!
water changes are going to be daily and a couple of inches just to remove some cloudy tannins.

Are you planning to add any livestock to this, snails maybe? or would they escape? I like the Anubias on the wood, I wonder if you can get an emersed plant that would tumble down the sides? Just pondering, it's looking great as it is

There will be bits added to the top when it matures a bit. The plan is to move endler fry into it and when they mature, put them back into the 'big' tank. Theres currently 8 in there

FTS of the tiny tank I’m absolutely loving this one! Maybe I’ll make tiny tanks a thing in this house, even just for aquascapes and snails hehe.

A whole raft of tiny tanks, that sounds great It's looking very clear, was expecting your big chunk of wood to have turned the water 'chocolatey'.
