Hi there!

I ordered myself a little mystery bundle of aquarium plants. I figured out 4 out of 5, but two turned out to not be aquarium suited plants in the first place, Chamaedorea elegans and a Selaginalla species, so I wonder if the last bunch might be terrestrial too? It didn't help that the parcel was stuck in the mail for a week or so, so that poor bundle is a bit discoloured by now. :/

Any ideas as to what this might be?

I've not seen anything quite like that as an underwater plant, but I could be wrong.....
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

I know this plant but I can’t place it. Pretty sure it’s not aquatic though.

Wow, I must be getting old, lol. Tomorrow I’ll see a guppy and not know what it is.

(btw, M. brasiliensis is a synonym of M. aquaticum) :)

Sorry no.

I'm almost certain these sorry looking cuttings are Hottonia palustris or Hottonia family.

The plant is suffering from a lack of nutrients, hence the white stems which should be a green colour.

Under the right conditions Hottonia palustris does turn a red colour on it's stems and top leaves.
