RE: Algae and phosphates. 3
Thread Subject Forum Name
Algae and phosphates. The Planted Aquarium
Post Message
It's been a few weeks since my last post and I am glad to say things are looking up. I have been adding ferts and liquid carbon daily and most of the algae has now gone. Just a little left on the Java Ferns. Some of the Amazon Swords are showing signs of new growth and I have added a lot of new plants as well. I have improved my tank maintenance by making sure all the ditrituce is hoovered up during water changes and tank is now looking much better. I had lost a little interest in it when it looked so bad but now enjoy it like I used to, so much so that another tank has been purchased to house a Betta when set up and cycled. All in all now really enjoying the hobby again.  Smile Smile
