Hi Everyone,

How great it is to find a UK fishkeeping forum! Although I'm a member of other worldwide forums, it's often useful to join a forum based in Old Blighty.

I've been keeping fish for about fifteen years - mostly freshwater tropical and a pond. I no longer have the pond but I currently have four tanks on the go. The community tank is also planted and is home to German Blue Rams, Cardinal Tetras, Panda Garras, Otocinclus, Pygmy Cories, Red Lizard Catfish, Siamese Algae Eaters, Clown Pleco and a Betta. Oh, and Zebra Nerite Snails.

I am very interested in the scientific side of the hobby and like to run my own experimental projects. I have recently been delving deeply into the all-important topic of biological filtration.

Enough for the moment.

Thanks for having me here.

L.
