I really must update this thread more often! So..... how’s everyone been? Good? Fantastic!

The tanks had some updates over the past couple of months.
So starting in the engine room, it’s getting tight for space in there!
No seriously:

So for controlling the element uptake in the tank I’ve pulled out the dosing pump and gone to a Deltec PF509 Calcium Reactor with a Kamoer peristaltic Pump. Reasons behind this are that I just found dosing to be an utter PITA to achieve what I’d deem stable parameters.
Also a big upgrade in the skimmer department, out with the Deltec, in with the Royal Exclusiv Bubble King 160dc. What an absolute beast of a skimmer!
So that’s it in the engine room. Up top I’ve changed out the ecotech Radion XR30 Gen3 Pro for the Gen4 Pro, this has improved the light penetration as the tank is deeper than the usual tank. Also popped another Ecotech Mp10 on there for good measure.
And I’ve completely rescaped the tank giving loads more space for Coral.
Quick vid for you all, YouTube’s murdered the quality but it’s viewable:

Think that’s everyone up to date... next mission is catching the chromis as they are taking up some valuable wrasse real estate!

Cheers
Joe
