The fry will be fine in the box for a short period of time until they grow a bit, just make sure you keep it as clean as you can. You could have left them in the main tank but you might not have as many survivors, the adult mollies would likely predate on any small enough to be eaten.

I was going to do 10% water changes daily for the next week or so. Been told to feed them 3 times a day with flake so I imagine there’ll be a bit of waste floating about?
