Re: Stephen's future aquarium plans
Thinking back to when you had some serious back issues . Can you plumb this tank in so water changes are done with a turn of a switch . I tend to use the filters to pump the water out via a tee joint and a tap . Makes water changes a dream on big tanks Thanks Joe I actually use a 22/16mm hose to em...

An Aquael cover for aquarium, 60 x 30 cm, incl. LED lighting, 10 watt, may work. https://i.postimg.cc/1zGw1VdF/910-CD32-D-4-FEF-4-DEA-B5-E8-3228-F56-D61-DC.png I ordered a replacement lid for my AquaEl 55ltr (24x12) last year. Went for the Leddy 60 from olibetta.uk. The product itself would have be...

Re: Close to giving up
Stick with it. My tank is roughly the same size as yours. My ammonia spiked and got me worried early on, but it eventually got demolished by the munchers in the filter and reached the point where everything was 0ppm in about 4 weeks. The amount of worrying I did far outweighed the effort involved - ...

Re: Golden Eyed Dwarf - health issue
He's about 2.5 y/o. Maybe it's premature ageing brought on by stress due to a lifetime of harassment. Lemon tetras surviving to 7 years is impressive - a testament to good husbandry. The last of the four rosy tetras that were the first stocking back in summer 2017 only died a couple of weeks ago, wh...

Golden Eyed Dwarf - health issue
Hi all, this is my first post here for ages. Of the brother and sister pair of Nannacara Anomala I had, only one remains. The female died yesterday following a short bout of what appeared to be dropsy. This post concerns the male. A few months back, I noticed that the male was showing odd colouratio...

Re: Makes me really angry....
Furry creatures are probably more prone to the innocent but avoidable harm caused by small children. A friend recently lost a gerbil due to it being sat on by their daughter.

Re: Makes me really angry....
I’m afraid in this situation there comes a point where you have to look after yourself. Being repeatedly or continually angry about stuff you can’t change isn’t healthy. It (presumably) isn’t how you would choose to spend real life free time, so don’t subject yourself to it on the internet! It seem...
