hello there managed to find materials to start off for water proofing just stuck on the viewing glass the thickness the dimensions are 4 foot long 2 foot wide and 2 foot deep..the viewing glass probably be about 2 feet for the viewing glass ..i just need to no the thickness of the viewing glass if a...

help with materials on makeing a ply wood aquarium in london..
hi there has anyone out there made a ply wood aquarium in the uk? if so what materials did you use? and where did u purchase the materials if u can supply that info ..as im thinking of makeing one but the apoxy paint im not sure on water proofing the ply wood if any one could get back that be great ...

thanks for all your replys the boiler i have heats the water and the heating i filled a bucket with hot water from the tap the colour of the water goes white then after a minute it clears .

thanks for the reply ive not even tried useing hot tap water i wouldnt want to take the chance might be to hi in heavy in metals .means more test kits so i would test for metals if you no what i mean lol. kettel seems a bit long .lol. i think i will stick with my bucket and heater for now
