Evening all, i'm really at a miss with my pristella (x-ray) tetras. I have 8 in a 120L tank along with some red phantom tetras, otos and panda cory. @plankton Do you feel like another fish may have been able to cause the damage? There is one much larger fish, also a pristella, and it can be a bit temperamental - especially during feeding.

Some tetras do darken with age, but yours don't look big enough to be around 5-7 years old.....unless you have the temperature very high, which you don't. Treat with Esha 2000 which is a broad-spectrum med. It sounds as though this is going to be one of those frustrating problems where we don't act...

Some more images of the currently affected fish. 1 looks quite bad - all of its sides have these bruise like markings and seems to be swimming lobsided/irregular, the other has a slight mark on the 'tail end' of its body but is swimming perfectly fine. https://i.postimg.cc/c4q7VdsK/6-DDD5-B08-C9-F0-...

Stephen The tank includes: 11x pristella tetra, 1x albino cory, 1x runmy nose, 2x assassin snails and 5x otocinclus. Currently in the quarantine tank are 7x red phantom tetras and 6x panda cory.
