just a case of keep looking i suppose, i really like the look of the peacocks very nice colours.
can get 10 x 7cm peacock mix for £130.

An Oscar will easily grow to 12”, so shouldn’t be kept in anything less than a 2 ft wide tank. In 18” wide I wouldn’t keep any cichlid longer than about 7-8”. just so many for a new guy to the hobby to look at, i like loads of them but just keep reading up on each one i see as i do not know very mu...

so after running the filter for a while now it seems to have increased in noise a fair bit and also the outlet hose to the tank seems to flow okay and then it sort of slows down and pulses in big bursts then goes steady again. very frustrating. not sure this is even the right thing to do but if i ho...

its a 4 foot tank it is 55cm tall and 45cm front to back. i was thinking oscar or flower horn also. i grabbed a decent filter as well as it was going cheap, well the reviews seem good. its an aqua one 1250 or something. so just need a heater or 2 and if i cannot get a stand by the weekend ill build ...
