RE: API Freshwater Master Test Kit £15.99 on Amazon

That is very strange.

As I have Prime, delivery is free for me. I guess it's not such a good price if you have to pay £5 delivery on top  :(

RE: Lottie’s 60L

Happy New Year! Drip acclimating is a must with shrimp I think, but I'm not sure that 5ml very 15-20 mins will bring the two lots of water close enough together (depending on how different they are to start with). I think you might have to swap out the water a bit more frequently. I use a cheap TDS ...

API Freshwater Master Test Kit £15.99 on Amazon

I'm not sure if this price is only for Amazon Prime Members (I am, so I can't see what price it might be otherwise), but the API Freshwater Master Test Kit is currently £15.99 on Amazon, which seems like a good price if you will need to buy a kit soon. I know not everyone likes Amazon, but thought w...

RE: Look who's new round here...

Very cute :) She seems happy, how have the cats been with her? Our two are generally pretty good with dogs (when we’ve dogsat ;) ), Bailey will hiss and Ari runs and hides, but they’re pretty good otherwise. Tales them a few days to get used to them :) Thanks Iain. The cats have been better than I ...

So, my OH has wanted a dog since forever and so a few weeks ago we got a Boston Terrier puppy, whom we have named Delphi. Here are a couple of pics from shortly after we got her, and another from Boxing Day with one of my (giant) cats.  She is a little cutie Suelo, how many sleepless nights have yo...

RE: Tested the aquarium water today

I think you would be better swapping to tapwater well before you add fish. The bottled water will be different to your tapwater, and the fish are unlikely to cope well with a sudden switch from one to the other.

RE: Wingnut55's Juwel Rio 450 LED

My Amanos wont eat BBA. I had some really long hair type algae running through my thicker plants and gravel when I first got them, and they polished off that within days. However, more recently I found I was getting what must be a different type of hair algae that was more on the edges of older leav...

Glad things are going well Lottie :) If you want help i’m “a little” experienced in livebearer fry ;) If you can keep track of roughly how  old the fry are they will start showing dimorphism around 3-4months old and they can breed very soon after. I did write this guide a little while back on raisi...
