Re: What is the problem
As I previously said, mucus around the skull plates from stress. Corydoras don't fair well on a gravel substrate. What are the other two Aeneus like? The other catfish are perfectly fine. Other fish in aquarium (guppy, platy etc ...) are fine also. I am currently treating catfish with aquarium salt...

Re: What is the problem

Without the symptoms nobody can help diagnosis There is a white-ish stuff around the top of the tail area. Also his head seems to take cracks o...

Re: What is the problem
I brought them in a group of 3 catfish. Only this one is ill. All other fish are doing fine with no problems. I only placed the catfish in the bag to be able to take a photo of it because it kept darting away. I feed the catfish pellets https://www.amazon.co.uk/King-British-Catfish-Pellet-65/dp/B002...

Tilting Filter
Hi,
I have aquarium filters that attach via suction cups, however I always find after a few days the filter leans/tilts to one side. Does anyone have tips to keep the filter stay vertical?

Re: Black fibers on plant leaves
Update:
Noticed a significant reduction in algae on plants the past couple of days (about 5 days from starting to use Silver Flying Fox's)

Re: Black fibers on plant leaves
I do understand there is no guarantee that they would eat the algae. I had a similar issue feeding alternative foods for my oto catfish. Most would eat things like cucumber but 1 or 2 would totally ignore it. In the first few hours the Silver Flying Fox's would just hide behind the plant which is un...
