Can you just test after 24 hours instead of twice a day please (just before re-dosing) - there's a lot of random results and I'm no longer sure where you are.... ;) :) The process is working, but it's difficult to say whether it's done or not now.... No.. they have definitely gone up previously even when only dosing 1/4 the amount of dr Tim’s. 4 weeks back or so I dropped in a pinch of fish food and saw levels like I’m now getting. When dosing 1/4 the recommended dr Tim’s ammonia levels would rise very slightly where as there were obvious change...

So I tested last night, then added the correct dosage of Dr Tim’s to 2ppm. I tested this morning and ammonia had went up to where it should. I’ve tested this evening and Ammonia has dropped significantly and Nitrites and Nitrates have went up a little. This means the process is working yes? See pics...

Here's a quick revision of the last few days.. 6pm - Monday 24th - PH 7.6, Ammonia 0.25, Nitrite 0.5, Nitrate 5 8am - Tuesday 25th - PH 7.6, Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0 9am - Tuesday 25th - Added 11 drops of Dr Tim's Ammonia 11pm - Tuesday 25th - PH 7.6, Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 5 11:15pm T...

I first dosed with Aqua Care Bio Boost a few weeks back and now Dr Tim’s. I’ve just tested and the ammonia result is clear from what went in yesterday. So following the dr Tim’s instructions I’ve added another 11 drops and will test in 24hrs.

4ppm ammonia produces 14.56 ppm nitrate. Your nitrate results seem to be consistently 0-5, which means they’re wrong. You need to bang the reagent #2 bottle on the table or wall or something, a few times, before you do the shaking, to get an accurate result. I’m curious, do you not measure the ammo...

So this morning around 9am we put 12 drops of Dr Timms in.. which I believe would be 4ppm.. and now at nearly 6pm the levels have changed but as much as expected? See pics below - last night and tonight. Results look like PH 7.6, High PH 7.4, Ammonia nearly 0.25, Nitrites between 0.25 & 0.5ppm a...
