Re: Traveling with fish
Polystyrene boxes you can buy online for around £17.00 or you could ask your LFS if they can supply one for you. Thank you, that is a great idea! try to individually bag the corys as they do secrete a toxin which will kill them if they are all dumped in the same bag. Do you have any other recommend...

Traveling with fish
Hello, at the end of May I will be moving. Unfortunately it is not moving from one part of city to other. I would like to ask whether anyone has experience with moving fish long distance. To be more specific, I estimated that it will be aproximatelly 12 hour drive with all the necessary stops. Given...

Re: Sick swordtail
They're probably under stress. It may be that that they've come from poor stock. I have this fish for more than half a year now and she has never shown any signs of being stressed. Her behaviour changed only ever since I started observing white spots on her fins. It is 100l SuperFish Start aquarium...

Re: Sick swordtail
Are any of them looking lethargic? Despite being the dominant female in the tank, the black swordtail is hidding quite often ever since I increased the temperature. However, her body did not change and her feeding response is still the same. There is a detail on her tail fin. https://i.postimg.cc/Q...

Re: Galaxy Rasboras
Hello, today I finally have time to take care of my aquariums and I want to rescape the 30L such that it better suits the fish inside as I have mentioned previously. Assuimg that the tank has been running for 6 months, do I have to pay attention to some details after I rescape it? I will be using ne...

Re: Galaxy Rasboras
I don't know the health of fish stock sold in The Netherlands, only in the UK, so it could be that Celestial Pearl Danios (there's no such thing as Galaxy Rasboras, it's a misname in shops) are a poor stock over there perhaps? It could be the case, I went there to look at the other fish in the tank...

Re: Galaxy Rasboras
OK, the black fish is a guppy which you hadn't mentioned. The guppy isnt there anymore, this photo is not up to date regarding stocking. It should be a refence for the decor and plants I have there. I think the plec may be an albino bristlenose if that is the tail in the "cave", that will...

Re: Galaxy Rasboras
It’s overstocked for a 25L tank and your fish may well be getting stressed because of that, or there might be some sort of infection going through them as suggested (on top of the stress). The problem is that I always consult all my decisions with the store I get my fish from, starting from tank ma...
