Re: In line heaters

Thank you. I've ordered the Aquael 300w. It's a new set up, the only thing in it atm is snails but the temp is varying more than I'd like and I'm not prepared to spend a lot on fish without sorting that out.

In line heaters

Can anyone recommend a good in line heater? I have a cheap Chinese one that's not very consistent temperature wise but I like the external ones.

Seachem Prime and Safe.

I always wondered when using Prime whether the treated water should be left to stand for any length of time as there is no advice on the label. From what I've read it can be used straight away, and that's what I've done, but I've read recently that the stuff can be added directly to the tank along w...

I suggested to my consultant a way the hospital (Treliske) could save probably £100,000s p. a. He said it was so obvious, he would raise it at the next board meeting .......... where it would be ignored as he was only a consultant, not a manager. I was to have blood tests before leaving in patients,...

Thank you. The corrugated hose is on the spigots so tightly I thought the ends might have been moulded on.

Re: Fluval 307

The source of water is on the other side of the bungalow. On my last tank I had a pipe teed off the inlet to the cannister to take water out, it worked well, so I'm looking now to take it a step further and take it out through the wall to a drain. I would also like to incorporate a pipe I can drop i...

Fluval 307

Hi, joining up with a question (as I suspect do most people). I'm not new to keeping fish, I've had tanks off and on for 40 years. I am wheelchair bound so wish to minimise the physical work involved. I have bought a tank of about 180L that came with a new 307. I would like to plumb this in to take ...
