Once you put fish in the tank there’s no such thing as pristine white sand. Fish poop is dark. Bear n mind one of the treatments for Ick involves raising the temp of the tank to between 30&32c for around 14 days (which I have done) so I personally am not worried about temps increasing during this heat blip. 30C stops it reproducing, so it will disappear in about 6 days. 32C kills it outr...

I am struggling. Big tank is 33 degrees. Temp in room is 44 degrees. Don't know what to do. Should I do a water change with cooler water ? Any point ? Temp outside is 39c
Ambient at my desk is 33c
Stairwell (where the hive thermostat sits) is 31c
Tank is currently at 28c
